Recently, the Marketwave team ventured out of the office to attend the PRSA Dallas Chapter’s 2013 Pegasus Awards Luncheon. You might be asking yourself, “How did they score an invite to this exclusive event?” Excitingly enough, Marketwave was a finalist in the Marketing Communications category for our work with the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity ReStores.
Bana Jobe, our outstanding Account Manager, was the brainchild behind our integrated marketing campaign that combined media relations, SEO, social media, advertising, content development, grassroots efforts and creative design to raise awareness of the ReStores. At the campaign’s conclusion, performance indicators showed increased website traffic, in-store traffic and improved local awareness as a result of our efforts.
When the Marketing Communications category was announced, we were named a recipient of an Award of Honor. Our clients, Andrea and Ron from the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, were able to join us for lunch and celebrate this victory with our team.
Although we didn’t win the top honor, we beat out some stiff competition to be a finalist, and we’re certainly proud of the work!
