We’re proud to announce that Marketwave was awarded two Marketer of the Year (MOY) Awards at the DFW American Marketing Association’s awards gala earlier this month. The Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter is North Texas’ largest professional marketing group, comprised of nationally recognized marketers from some of the most prestigious companies in DFW.
Marketwave took home the AMA Marketer of the Year award in Event Marketing for our work on Ask Oncor. We Deliver., an open house-style event geared toward helping Oncor connect with communities in its service territories across Texas. These events provide the opportunity for residents within Oncor’s service area to ask questions and receive answers from Oncor representatives face to face.
Marketwave also received an AMA Marketer of the Year award for Interactive Media, related to our work on Oncor’s The Wire, a dynamic online news hub for brand journalism. A real-time news outlet for stories and opinions about Oncor, the industry and the causes that are important to our customers, The Wire works to chronicle topics in an engaging, journalistic way.
The Marketer of the Year Awards are open to companies in the DFW area and are judged by a panel of select marketing professionals who serve as industry experts within each award category. We were competing against some of the biggest marketing agencies in the country. We finished in the company of several great businesses who were also awarded AMA MOY Awards, such as Southwest Airlines, GSD&M, Mary Kay and HMS. Congratulations to all who were nominated this year!
