Marketwave wins MarCom Award

We’re proud to announce that Marketwave has been awarded a MarCom Award for our work with Baylor Research Institute (BRI). The MarCom Awards are open internationally and are judged by experienced professionals in the marketing and communications field. Our marketing peers know their stuff so when we found out they found our work award-worthy, we were thrilled!

The MarCom Award recognized a story about instant noodles originally written for the internal BRI intranet. Originally a lengthy medical study linking instant noodles to increased heart risks, our writers condensed the study into a catchy, informational piece.

The story – like the noodles – became an instant success not just on the BRI intranet, but worldwide after our client decided to distribute the story and then received a phone call from the Associated Press asking to run the piece. As of September, the story has earned BRI more than 16 million media impressions!
