As a real gig with real opportunities to add to your resume, our interns get paid $20 an hour for up to 15 hours a week. We’re in our Plano office Mondays and Wednesdays and we’ve saved you a seat! Our program runs from June 1 to July 30, 2025.

We’re accepting two rising juniors, seniors or recent grads this summer! Read on to see which role suits you best and then email your resume, writing samples and/or portfolio and love for dogs (bonus points!) to Kristin Bult.

Account Management

If you’re studying marketing, journalism, communications or a related field, Marketwave’s internships give you a chance to plug in and get immersed not only into what we love about agency life, but also our clients’ industries. It’s opportunity multiplied because of the hands-on experiences you’ll have. The ideal candidate:
Has a way with words – both written and spoken
Is a go-getter and a do gooder (because we love to volunteer together!)
Organized and dead-set on deadlines and details
To our last point…has an eagle eye – perhaps our biggest ask is that you can QA both your work and ours
Flexible – as in this day might be different than last because #agencylife
Can research – it could be competitive, it could be industry, it could be something totally new even to us, but can you love that and report back your topline findings?

Creative

The world of graphic design is changing at an incredible rate and our team knows how to stay on top of trends. If you’re a rising junior or senior in college studying this dynamic field, here’s your chance to build your portfolio and learn from the best. Hands on and fast pace, this internship will launch your career with plenty of creative fundamentals and fun! The ideal candidate:
Will woo us with some design work and projects
Has skills in Adobe Creative Cloud such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
Is quick on his or her feet and ready to learn all while being able to manage time and pay attention to details
Demonstrates a passion for brand-building and creative thinking
Looks for new opportunities to position us and our clients – and isn’t afraid to share some new ideas
