As a prominent Dallas-based company with deep roots in the community, Oncor is a longtime sponsor of the State Fair of Texas. In 2014, the company hosted an exhibit called the Social Corral, which aimed to promote their customer communications technologies. Our objective was to create digital assets for Oncor’s primary communications channels to drive traffic to the Social Corral. As a result, we created a social media scavenger hunt that encourage fair goers, who came by the Oncor booth, to take photos at three of five selected fair locations and share it on their social platforms using the tag @Oncor and #BIGTEX. Participants who posted three photos automatically were entered to win a prize.
