A small life sciences company, Wound Management Technologies, Inc. (WMT), and its subsidiaries sell advanced biotech products, competing in large, regulated markets. The company was looking to establish a more distinct presence, reach significant value growth milestones and develop more strategic partnerships with major distributors. Our primary goals in naming and developing an identity for WMT’s new surgical product – which controls bleeding from bone surfaces – were to distinguish it from their competitors and establish credibility in the market. In developing their new collateral, we illustrated red blood cells using patterned circles and incorporated grey to create a swipe motion that signified the stoppage of bleeding.
